The Association Circolo Cameristico Piemontese was born in 1972 from the intentions of three musicians: Mario Bricarello, Bruno De Rosa e Giorgio Giacomelli. The C.C.P., with its long series of activities, has been appreciated from its very first beginning by the public and by the critics. With a staff made by a string and a wind quintet, and with the addition of the piano, a large repertoire could be explored, from the five "Concerti" of Antonio Vivaldi to W. A. Mozart's Quartets or to Beethoven's Septet Op.20.
The C.C.P. has been the guest of important musical Associations, in Italy but also abroad.
Enlarging the team, the Association had organized important orchestral events, like a Festival dedicated to J. S. Bach: The Brandenburg Concertos, Suite Ouverture, The Art of Fugue and the Musical Offering, in the chamber music repertoire.
In the 80's and in the 90's the Circolo Cameristico Piemontese has had important collaborations with world famous orchestral conductors like Massimo Bruni, Bruno Martinotti, Alberto Peyretti, Sergio Penazzi, Riccardo Chailly, Ruggero Maghini, Angelo Ephrikian.

From the 1998 the C.C.P. has changed its directive structure, fixed the main office in Chieri and resumed it's activities, organizing ten concert seasons and eleven editions of the International Competition for Young Performers.
